Beak to beak

Large squarish plate featuring 2 egrets beak to beak. Inspired by the egrets I see on the river but also relationships. On this plate one partner stands, steadfast, ready to catch the other should that be necessary, a safe pair of hands (wings) In this turbulent world isn’t that what we all need. Part of the river bird collection.
Made from red earthenware clay and decorated with coloured slips and a glossy glaze.

Perfect for wall decoration and could be used as a serving plate. Washing by hand advisable.
