Big beak oyster catcher

Handmade square plate featuring an oyster catcher’s head. Part of the River bird collection. Inspired by walks along the Adur, catching sight of one (or two, they are usually in pairs) picking their way along the river bank. You hear them before you see them.. peep peeep peeeep!

Made from earthenware red clay and decorated with coloured slips and finished with a glossy transparent glaze.

Perfect for wall decoration and safe to eat off. Washing by hand advised.
